Hello, I’m Fleur.
I am a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, with over eleven years of experience supporting individuals as they navigate life’s complexities. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s story.
I have supported students, young adults, couples, and individuals across different stages of life as they work through anxiety, trauma, grief, shame, identity development, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and somatic-informed practice, tailoring sessions to the needs of each individual or couple.
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard.
Christian Counselling
For those who wish to integrate faith into the counselling process, Christian counselling is available.
Faith can be a deeply personal and formative part of a person’s identity. When requested, sessions may incorporate Christian perspectives, biblical reflection, or prayer in a way that aligns with your values and comfort level. This is always client-led and never assumed.
Whether you are seeking counselling from a faith-based perspective or simply looking for professional therapeutic support, you will be met with respect, care, and integrity.
The Meaning Behind Courageous
The name Courageous Counselling grew from a simple idea — that seeking support is, in itself, an act of courage.
Embedded within the word courageous is a quiet message: you are courageous.
Not in a loud or dramatic way.
But in the steady, often unseen ways people continue to move forward.
Courage can look like asking for help when you would rather withdraw.
It can look like naming something that has been difficult to speak about.
It can look like sitting with uncertainty instead of avoiding it.
Many people arrive in counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Yet the very decision to begin is evidence of strength already present.
Courageous Counselling reflects this belief — that growth does not begin with perfection or confidence, but with willingness.
And willingness is enough.
If you are considering counselling, you are welcome here.
